An aspiring singer's confession

Singing is my passion. As early as 4 years old, I used to hang out in our front house's window and sing my favorite "Da da da! which later became my identity in the neighborhood; I was usually called Da Da Da instead of my name. Also, I never failed to watch the That's Entertainment and imitate my favorite artists such as Sheryl Cruz, Tina Paner and Manilyn Reynes. While they are performing, I also sing along while waving and blowing kisses to my fans and audiences (composing of my mom, aunt, and grandmother).

My love for singing lead me to join a choir group in a nearby parish. Lucky enough, our Parish Priest that time is musically inclined so we are all blessed to be able to learn new songs and even received mentoring on voice techniques and voice quality. As the saying, "One who sings well prays twice", singing not just became my passion but also my devotion and service to God.

I always dream to be a singer and recording artist. Someday, I want my songs to played and listened by many people. I want to inspire and bless through the songs that I sing. This will be my offering to the Creator and my gift to the world.

I know that this is a very ambitious ambition. Though this might not actually happen, I could still be a recording artist in my own way.  Thanks to the social media networks like facebook, myspace, youtube, and SoundCloud, I could record my songs and share it to the world.. ^_^

REPOST: 3 nice inspirational and motivational thoughts for the day..

1. Once, all villagers decided to pray for rain, on the day of prayer all people gathered & only one boy came with an umbrella THAT'S FAITH

2. Example of the feeling of a one year old baby. When you throw him in the air, he laughs because he knows you will catch him THAT'S TRUST

3. Every night we go to bed, without any of assurance of being alive the next morning but still we set the alarms in our watch to wake up. THAT'S HOPE"

"From book “The Devil and Miss Prym”

A man, his horse and his dog were traveling down a road. When they were passing by a gigantic tree, a bolt of lightning struck and they all fell dead on the spot.
But the man did not realize that he had already left this world, so he went on walking with his two animals; sometimes the dead take time to understand their new condition…

The journey was very long, uphill, the sun was strong and they were covered in sweat and very thirsty. They were desperately in need of water. At a bend in the road they spotted a magnificent gateway, all in marble, which led to a square paved with blocks of gold and with a fountain in the center that spouted forth crystalline water.
The traveler went up to the man guarding the gate.
“Good morning. What is this beautiful place?”
“This is heaven.”
“How good to have reached heaven, we’re ever so thirsty.”
“You can come in and drink all you want.”
“My horse and my dog are thirsty too.”
“So sorry, but animals aren’t allowed in here.”
The man was very disappointed because his thirst was great, but he could not drink alone; he thanked the man and went on his way. After traveling a lot, they arrived exhausted at a farm whose entrance was marked with an old doorway that opened onto a tree-lined dirt road.

A man was lying down in the shadow of one of the trees, his head covered with a hat, perhaps asleep.
“Good morning,” said the traveler. “We are very thirsty – me, my horse and my dog.”
“There is a spring over in those stones,” said the man, pointing to the spot. “Drink as much as you like.”
The man, the horse and the dog went to the spring and quenched their thirst. Then the traveler went back to thank the man.

“By the way, what’s this place called?”
“Heaven.”
“Heaven? But the guard at the marble gate back there said that was heaven!”
“That’s not heaven, that’s hell.”
The traveler was puzzled.
“You’ve got to stop this! All this false information must cause enormous confusion!”

The man smiled:
“Not at all. As a matter of fact they do us a great favor. Because over there stay all those who are even capable of abandoning their best friends…”"

A SIMPLE TRUTH OF LOVE (Author Unknown)

It is a mystery why we fall in love. It is a mystery how it happens. It is a mystery why love sometimes grow and it is a mystery why some love fail. You can analyze and look for some reasons and causes, but you will never do anymore then to take life out of the experience.
Love is more the sum of the interests, attractions and commonalties that two people share. And just as itself is a gift that comes and goes in its time, the coming of love must be taken as an unfathomable gift that cannot be questioned in its way.

Too often, when love comes to people, they try to grasp that love and hold it to them, refusing to see that it is a gift freely given and a gift that just freely moves away. When they fall out of love or the person they love feels the spirit of love is leaving, they desperately try to reclaim the love that was lost rather than accepting the gift for what it was. They want answers; there are no answers. They want to know what is wrong with them as they try to get their love to change thinking that if some small things were different love would bloom again. They blame the circumstances. They blame each other; they try anything to give meaning to what has happened. But there is no meaning beyond the love itself, and until they accept its own mysterious ways, they live in a sea of misery.
You need to heart what love brings you with kindness. If you find yourself in love with someone who does not love you, be gentle enough with yourself. There is nothing wrong with you. Love just didn't choose to rest in the other person's heart. If you find someone else in love with you toward whom you feel no love, feel honored that love came and called at your door, but gently refuses the gift you cannot return. Do not take advantage; do not cause pain how you deal with love is how love deals with you, and all our hearts feel the same pains and joys even if our lives and ways are very different.

If you fall in love with another who falls in love with you, and then chooses to leave, do not try to reclaim it or to assess blame. Let it go. There is a reason and there is a meaning you will know it n time, but time itself will choose the moment. Remember this; keep it in your heart. You don't choose love, love chooses you. All you can do is accept it for all its mystery when it comes to your life. Feel the way it fills you to overflowing, then reach out and give it away. Give it back to the person who brought it to you. Give it to others who seem poor in spirit. Give it to the world around you in any way you can. Love has its own time, its own season, and its own reasons for coming and going. You cannot bribe it, coarse it or reason it into staying. If it chooses to leave from the heart of your lover there is nothing you can do and nothing you should do. Be glad that it came to live for a moment in your life. If you keep your heart open, it will surely come again.

HOMILY OF LOVE (Author unknown)

When you think of your past love, you may view it as a failure. But when you find a new love, you view the past as a teacher. In the game of love, it doesn't really matter who won or who lost. What is important is you know when to hold on and when to let go! You know you really love someone when you want him or her to be happy, even if their happiness means that you're not part of it. Everything happens for the best. If the person you love doesn't love you back, don't be afraid to love someone else again, for you'll never know unless you give it a try. You'll never love a person you love unless you risk for love. Love strives in hurting. If you don't get hurt, you don't learn how to love. Love doesn't hurt all the time. Though the hurting is still there to test you, to help you grow. Don't find love, let love find you. That's why it's called falling in love because you don't force yourself to fall. You just fall. You cannot finish a book without closing it's chapters. If you want to go on, then you have to leave the past as you turn the pages. Love is not destroyed by a single failure or won by a single caress. It is a lifetime venture in which we are always learning, discovering and growing. The greatest irony of love is letting go when you need to hold on and holding on when you need to let go. We lose someone we love only when we are destined to find someone else who can love us even more than we can love ourselves. On falling out of love, take some time to heal and then get back on the horse. But don't ever make the same mistake of riding the same one that threw you the first time. To love is to risk rejection..... To live is to risk dying.....To hope is to risk failure..... But risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is risk nothing! To reach for another is to risk involvement, to expose your feelings is to expose true self, to love is to risk not to be loved in return. How to define love: fall but do not stumble, be constant but not too persistent, share and never be unfair, understand and try not to demand, hurt but never keep the pain. Love is like a knife. It can stab the heart or it can carve wonderful images into the soul that always last for a lifetime. Love is supposed to be the most wonderful feeling. It should inspire you and give you joy and strength. But sometimes the things that give you joy can also hurt you in the end. Loving people means giving them the freedom who they choose to be and where they choose to be. For all the heartaches and the tears..... For gloomy days and fruitless years..... You should give thanks, for you know, that there were the things that helped you grow. Loving someone means giving him the freedom to find his way, whether it leads towards you or away from you. Love is a painful risk to take but the risk must be taken no matter how scary or painful, for only then you'll experience the fullness of humanity and that is love. Only love can hurt your heart, fill you with desire and tear you apart. Only love can make you cry and only love knows why. If you're not ready to cry..... If you're not ready to take the risk.....if you're not ready to feel the pain..... then you're not ready to fall in love. There was a time in our lives when we became afraid to fall in love co'z everytime we do, we get hurt. Then i figured that's why it's called falling in love. Whatever happened, don't give up! It is just a trial. After all God will not give you trial that you can't tackle. Have faith in yourself and cheer up. No matter what will happen, I'm always a friend at your back to support you.. with the right decision. But then if it's  the wrong track as to where you want to go.....i'm one of your greatest enemy. When you decide to love, allow it to grow. When you promise to love, refuse to let it die!
