Happy One Year Twins!

It's been a year since I had decided to enter the world of blogging. At first, I didn't know if I'm really into this kind of stuff but since writing is one of my interests aside from singing and reading, I pushed my self beyond the limits of my pen and notebook and embraced a new way of expressing my thoughts from a different perspective. And alas, my twin blogs were born.

My first blog, My Online Prayerbook, was born out of my commitment to serve God through sharing the daily Gospel readings and to make the community prayers accessible to everyone. I dream that this will be an online library of prayers, God's words through the scriptures, worship songs, lives of saints and everything that will help us in keeping our faith burning with love for God.

My second blog, Faith, Hope & Love, is a collection of my thoughts, experiences and insights. I consider it as my personal diary for most of the articles are written based on my personal encounter in this journey called LIFE. I also included here some works of others (of course, with due credits) which I found inspiring and worth keeping.

Writing for me, is a form of self-expression and a therapy. It's a silent companion during my hardest and painful battles, and a speechless witness of my happiest and wonderful days. It is my best buddy in which I can tell everything and be what I really am. It is my quiet retreat, my sweet escape, and my secret reverie. While singing is my first love and reading is my great love, writing will always be my true love.

Cheers to my twins! Happy Birthday! ^_^

A Prayer for Teachers

Almighty God,
We come to you today and give thanks for all our teachers.
Thank you for the way in which they give of themselves each day in the classroom,
Serving and instructing the next generation of this land.
We thank you for them all now.

Father, please fill their hearts with courage now by your mighty Spirit.
Fill them with your strength, so they may rise to every challenge and not grow weary.
Fill them with your wisdom, so that they may be able to make good judgement when guiding and helping others.
Fill them with your peace, so that when stress and anxiety comes it would not overwhelm them.
Fill them with your joy, so that the passion they have for their subject may become a infectious passion that spreads.

We ask all this in the wonderful name of Jesus.
Amen.
